Everything about your goals is personal. The way you reach them should be, too. This season’s updates are designed to help you better understand your nutrition, figure out what to do next, and get support that feels more relevant to your health journey.
As we begin to bid summer a fond au revoir, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate everything that made it great: Yes, the backyard barbecues, the warmth; the pool, the beach, the family vacations. But then of course, there were the epic feature releases we served up this summer—some of which might already be in your regular rotation, while others might be waiting for you to discover them.
So before we officially dig the flannel out of storage, let’s take a look at the biggest ways MyFitnessPal has gotten more powerful and more personalized this summer.
Let’s dive in!
More Guidance, Less Guesswork
We’ve been saying it forever: Knowing what you’re eating is the foundation of healthier habits. But knowing what to do with that information is where things get really useful.
We believe nutrition tracking should help you connect the dots between your everyday choices and the goals you’re working toward. So we’ve been building more guidance directly into the MyFitnessPal experience—helping turn your nutrition data into information you can actually put into practice.
Get Guidance on the Go with AI Coach

Have you ever stood staring at your phone or into the fridge wishing MyFitnessPal would just tell you what to eat? Well now, it can!
AI Coach adds a new layer of super-personalized guidance to your app, making your nutrition journey feel much more actionable. Ask it for advice anytime and anywhere, and it offers suggestions based on your logging history, goals, and MyFitnessPal’s deep nutrition expertise.
This just might be our coolest way yet of helping you get more out of the information you track—so you spend less time wondering what to eat next, and more time doing literally anything else!
Dinner Dilemma? Check your Plan Tab.

Your goals are easier to stick with when you have a game plan. But sometimes, you just need an idea for right now.
But sometimes, you just need an idea for right now. The new Plan tab is designed for just that. You’ll find recipes, saved meals, and suggestions that are already matched to your goal.
It takes the “searching” out of your search for mealtime inspiration. And the best part: The recipes and saved favorites can be logged in just a couple taps.
An App Experience That’s More Personal
There’s no single “right” health journey. Your nutrition needs can change depending on your goals, what’s happening with your health, and plenty of other real-life factors that don’t fit neatly into a one-size-fits-all plan.
So we’ve also been working to make MyFitnessPal more personal, giving you better ways to understand your unique patterns and supporting more of the paths members like you take toward better health.
See Your Progress More Clearly

A day’s worth of data is interesting, but a single step on the scale can only tell you so much. Zoom out, and your longer-term trends and habits can show you a whole lot more.
The new Progress tab turns the nutrition information you track every day into meaningful weekly insights. You can see how your calorie and macro patterns are stacking up against your targets, celebrate where things are going well, and spot areas where a few tweaks may help.
You’ll also find dietitian-backed insights and personalized tips designed to help you learn from your patterns and (most importantly) act on it.
More Support for GLP-1 Journeys

The tools you use to support you should reflect the path you’re actually on. That’s why we created GLP-1 Support: to bring everything together in one place, so you can keep track of your med routine where you’re already tracking your meals.
You can seamlessly log your GLP-1 dose and timing (no separate app or stack of sticky notes needed here!) and keep track of side effects to draw helpful connections between your meals and how you feel. This makes it easier to see how everything is working together—and what’s working for you.
On a Journey to Make Yours Possible
For more than 20 years, MyFitnessPal has helped millions of people understand what they eat and use that knowledge to work toward their goals.
And we’re proud to say the app has never been better at it.
These latest updates are about helping you get more from every log—with clearer guidance when you need direction, deeper insights into your progress, and a more personalized experience that supports not just “health journeys” but your health journey.
Because food is the foundation, absolutely. But tracking it is just the beginning.
So take a look around your app, explore what’s new, and see what these latest tools can do for you.
